Through Active at Home you can exercise in the comfort of your own home, with the support of a support worker you trust.
Active at Home is suitable for older people with a wide range of physical capacities, including frailty, reduced mobility, hip replacements, back pain and other chronic conditions.
It’s easy to get started and you can work at your own pace.
Crucially, the Active at Home program can be included as part of your existing home care services. A support worker will help you with the exercise techniques, monitor your progress and provide you with support and coaching, increasing the difficulty of the exercises gently as your strength and balance improve.
Active at Home is an ideal program for you if you
sometimes struggle to perform daily tasks
get tired easily
sometimes feel unsteady on your feet
have had exercise recommended to you by a health professional
If you are interested in Active at Home, we can send you a welcome pack that provides you with everything you need to get started.
